4In which I play "Retro-Dschump" coded by Peter Hinz for the ABBUC 2022 Software Contest. This game is apparently a predecessor to "Yoomp!".
It's a decent game, with nice graphics, smooth parallax scrolling, and sounds. I especially like the ball animation; it's a convincing tennis ball look! I found myself puzzled by some elements of the game, but I think I needed to try to pay closer attention to the hint text displayed the first time you get to a new level during each game.
