In which I play "Spaceball", published in 1987 by Interface Software and written by Thomas Fischermann. This is a decent enough take on "Pong" which would make a considerably better two-player game than it does a one-player game. The computer is beatable, but at slow ball speeds it cannot be beaten, so the player has to get proficient before they have a chance. Sound effects are sparse; basically just the ball being hit and bouncing off a wall. Music plays in between games, and it's not bad. And ... that's about it. Not super-memorable, but not bad.
