The 2018 Aquaman movie is an American superhero film by Warner Bros. Pictures, set in the DC Cinematic Universe and based on the comic book character of the same name.
As the movie's cold open, we are told the story of the titular character's parents — Atlanna, Queen of Atlantis and Tom the lighthouse keeper — and how they met. Wounded, Atlanna (played by Nicole Kidman) wakes up in Tom's sofa. As she comes to, she spots his goldfish and eats one of them just as he walks in. She stares at him for a second, fish dangling out of her mouth, before slurping it up in front of him.
