0"Atomfall" is an action survival game developed by Rebellion Developments, released on March 27, 2025, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Set in an alternate history where the 1957 Windscale nuclear disaster in Northern England led to a catastrophic explosion, the game unfolds five years after the event within a quarantined zone in the Lake District.
Players assume the role of an amnesiac protagonist who awakens in a bunker within the exclusion zone, unaware of their identity or how they got there. The initial objective is to escape the zone, but as the story progresses, the protagonist becomes entangled in uncovering the truth behind the disaster and the ensuing chaos.

The narrative is non-linear, allowing players to explore interconnected areas of the British countryside, interact with non-playable characters, and make choices that influence the story's progression and outcome. The game offers multiple endings based on the decisions made throughout the journey.
"Atomfall" draws inspiration from British science fiction, incorporating elements reminiscent of "Doctor Who" and "The Day of the Triffids," creating a uniquely British post-apocalyptic atmosphere.
