Finally beat year 10 on Atomicrops, it was pretty painful. I've decided to leave the footage of the run completely unedited, so there are a couple of times where I pause briefly to address things in real life. This was a pretty proud day for me, I was starting to think I just didn't have the reaction speed to beat Year 10.

Some things I learned:

In lower years I prefer Rye to Lavendar, he helps me be greedy and explore more early on, but Lavendar is just better in Year 10, with Rye you end up buying a new gun everyday just to be safe, while Lavendar really helps you get those crops grown on day one and it's VERY important to have roses and cash at the end of day 1. A lot of my Rye runs end on day 2 because I didn't have roses at the end of day 1 to grab health, so make sure you head back to your farm to farm at dusk on day 1, and be careful not to get killed by the swarm of rabbits there.

I prefer to go left on the first day, in the right are bulls, and bees and your pea shooter is terrible against them. It's way too difficult to survive over there. That said, on the left are the snails which are extremely difficult to kill with the pea-shooter, my answer? Ignore them. I only go after snails if I have a damage mushroom or they're guarding a tractor.

You have to take risks. You can't sit at your farm because you have low health, if you do you'll fall behind and you won't be able to win long term.

Every health is your last health. Play like you're always one hit away from dying, because there is unavoidable damage. There are times you spawn into a boss fight and take damage, in the plains the bees can charge you from off-screen, you take damage before you see them, bullets will pin you into unsurvivable positions.

Use your tractor, notice that when my tractor comes up, I pop into a gopher hole, use it then pop back, it only takes a few seconds and the value it gives can't be understated, not to mention this resets monster aggro, allowing you to recalibrate.

Wacker Tractor ALL THE WAY. In earlier years you're fine with woodchipper and sprinkler, they can help you get higher scores, but if your farms weeds get out of control you end up confined to the soil on your farm which means you'll take damage. You can't maneuver around 2x2 crops and bullets are coming from all over, in death #16 that was my fatal flaw. Plus, wacker tractor gives sunflower seeds, which really is your big source of income in year 10, since exploring is much harder.

SAVE SCROLLS FOR FINAL FIGHT. Wow, I ended up useless against the corpse-u-copia in death #16. He has so much health you really want 2 anemochory's at least with a rain cloud. I made a mistake in this video where I used my second anemochory near the end, luckily I got another from season 4 rewards.

Finally, don't underestimate the corpse-u-copia. In year 1 I've been able to kill him with a megaton tractor in an instant, this is not the case in year 10, he will take multiple full harvests and he will throw attacks at you a LOT.

Adjusting to year 10 was difficult for me, I went through years 1 through 8 with no deaths, year 9 was unbelievably difficult and year 10 was a nightmare. I am used to playing greedy and trying to maximize score, but on year 10 you just have to try to get enough money for end of season rewards to get stats to keep up with the enemies.
