Auction Web Review — Not An Auction Game
In this Shelfside review of a card game with lots of nft's and cryptocurrencies set collection for 2-5 players, Auction Web Review will feature fast gameplay and bluffing in less than 30 minutes. Buy a whole bunch of properties, bid litcoin cards, and see who has the most points at the end! Your hand of cards is easy to play, just bid facedown to a property, and once the round is up, the highest bidder for each property takes it. However, there's a bit more nuance and mechanics from the rulebook to throw in, Auction Web isn't just a lightweight game. Certain interactions between cards let them block each other, or even allow triggered effects upon a loss, so clever bluffing and timing is essential to card play during the game night. The strategy will definitely not be to just open with your biggest numbers and sit back, as you'll definitely need to react, adapt, and trick other players if you'll want to snag all the highest value properties! This clever, streamlined structure behind the gameplay, but maybe at the cost of some balance when it comes to turn order and certain card draw probabilities.
