In October 1997, my brother and I recorded the final three episodes of Beast Wars Season 1. Rather than edit out the commercials so we could watch the show again uninterrupted, out of laziness we kept all the commercials in, and I am glad that we did!

Showcased here are commercials that played during this time period, also including the iconic Beast Wars intro, and other shows as well (Beast Wars was on after re-runs of I Dream of Jeannie). Towards the end you can watch 10 minutes of the show A*Mazing, followed by a few seconds of some classic "Technicolor" visuals (slight sound warning on that one though, as the beep is a little annoying).

It's so funny that at the time, the main thing I wanted to watch was the show itself, but today, it's the commercials that I want to watch most. The show itself has been edited out for this video, but the iconic intro, and outros (which often has a voice-over for upcoming shows) have been kept for all to enjoy!

I'll be sure to check out more tapes, to see if there are more commercials, but in the meantime, please enjoy this little time capsule.
