Auto Gain Calibration with the RetroTINK 4K Pro - A Basic Overview
Auto Gain Calibration! This was a feature that I thought was so cool when first playing around with the RetroTINK 4K Pro. The RT4K has more to offer than scaling the resolution, features like this tailor and optimize the experience even more! It's taken time and lot of help to learn and understand how to use it properly, so now I want to share what I've learned. Big shout out once again to the good folks in the RetroTINK Discord Server for helping me out when I was asking questions!

*Although I specified that you need to save a profile for each resolution per console, it is important to mention that the calibration will be unique to the particular console itself. If you have two SNES Systems, even of the same revision, you should have one profile for each as an example. Consoles age uniquely, so their degradation can differ and thus effect the output quality differently.

*Important Call-Out: YouTube's compression does takeaway a lot of detail that is seen in person that devices like RetroTINK, RAD2X, CARBY, and more output. Bear that in mind with any content containing capture footage from those devices. My commentary and opinions come from the Raw Capture Files and what it looks like on my TV, I can't accurately account for what details are lost to compression until after the video is uploaded.
