How to get unlimited Nanites... without using mines!
I normally only use this little hack when I've exhausted all my mines, but it's also possible to do this from the start... so you never ever have to build any mines!!!
The really beauty of this process is that you can get unlimited Nanites.... because you can grow unlimited Kelko Spores... whereas processing nanites from copper or iron is limited because when your mine runs out of resources you can't make any more nanites!
The process is very easy.....
1. Build a farm and grow kelko spores
2. Build Research centre and research Kelko sludge
3. Build a Chemical plant and process kelko spores into sludge
4. Build a Nanite processor and set it to use kelko sludge
5. Upgrade the farm/chem plant and nanite processor
6. Build more farms! Build more nanite processors!
This is awesome for maps where there are limited copper and iron deposits, like Hyla's Crescent.
