The Marvel's Avengers game has some raw sales data for the first time and Square-Enix is reporting that they lost "Square Enix - reported Yen6.5bn loss for HD Games driven by Marvel Avengers, would not say how many sold but that volumes were 60% of plan. Implies game cost over $100m to make but only sold 3m or so. Ouch" according to twitter. That means that the game literally sold worse than ANTHEM on XBox One and PS4. Can the Avengers game bounce back when they add Spider-man or Miles Morales or as the game comes to Xbox Series X and PS5 or is this game already totally doomed? I think not even the PlayStation 5 can save it. This is a rant by Dreamcastguy laughing at how screwed the Avengers game is.
