Purchased a new capture card and I wanted to test it out. I recorded the video at the maximum bit rate I could and I rendered at a pretty high bite rate in Sony Vegas 12. This 5 minute video has a file size of 1 GB, so I'll definitely have to render at a lower bit rate from now on.
This 1 GB file took 17 minutes to render using Sony Vegas 12's ability to use my GPU to help the render go faster. On Sony Vegas 10, this would have taken about 90 minutes
