Avex Group Export Ban and why this concerns me

For this video we are taking a look at a very serious issue that popped up recently when it comes to Avex Pictures and a ban that they have instituted on the export of the JP DVDs/BDs for Yuri on Ice, Osomatsu-San and other shows under their label AS WELL AS their regular music acts in the country.
I discuss why this story ISN'T just about what they have done now with a fanbase that is very loyal and passionate to their series but also how this is somewhat a history with what has happened with Japan's Anime series' like UtaPri and La Corda d'Oro and why ,to a degree, Japan has shown they aren't willing to give up the goods that they already enjoy that we can't.
