39Always let your bike or battery cool down after a long hard ride and especially if it's a cheap Chinese pack like this one. Was not any magnetic BS People were saying this guy must likely just finished long hard ride on a hot day with one of the cheapest packs you can put on an ebike. I say it all the time you can cheap out on everything but the battery. It just doesn't hurt performance it can hurt you and your family. Cheap packs have cheap cells that have low thermal protection or just none at all. Premium cells run cooler the chances of thermal runaway is allot less. There so good most ultra Premium cells don't even need BMS for the most part not saying most of you shouldn't have one but that's just how good the new high performance cell tech is. An electric bike is just that and the battery whether you wanna go fast or have long range should be the most expensive component on your bike period. Truth be told if you have a $1000 controller you better have a $2500 battery in fact the battery should cost more than the complete bike even if it's high end motor and controller but I've got left field now lol.
