Avowed has some people excited and others on the fence. Yes it's an Obsidian game, but its the first with Microsoft's direct environment and phrases being thrown like "Skyrim-like" are concerning to me.

Bethesda can continue to dumb down their games if they want but I don't think a truly great RPG can ever use Skyrim as it's base. In the RPG department it is flawed in way too many ways and I hope it is simply an open world RPG in a similar setting and takes more from their own, New Vegas and NOT The Elder Scrolls V.
