Aliens vs. Predator

Just a short video demonstrating how lousy the new Aliens vs Predator game's AI is in single player. The scariest part of this game, is that people defend it as a "good game" despite its obvious, blatant flaws... I love the Aliens Universe as much as the next geek, but c'mon, you call a turd a turd because that's what it is.

The obvious:
1. Note I'm running around in a fairly well-lit area, lots of lights everywhere. I'm pretty sure I'd have difficulty NOT seeing a giant insect crawling around in this room. Without my glasses! :D
2. Note how the NPC "comes when called"(at least the first time), when you hiss at him. I've noticed this is largely invariable. NPCs will leave their allies and walk towards you when you hiss, at least once, before they refuse to do it again.
3. Notice how the NPC appears to forget I'm even there if I've left his line of sight before his pain animation is complete.
4. Note how the NPC turns his back to face me as he approaches after going around the corner. I'm not sure if this is just lousy corner pathfinding behaviour and it's supposed to make him look competent by covering one direction while moving in another(you'd think he'd at least cover the direction he saw the threat from last...), or if it's the game designers deliberately presenting the NPC's back to you as an invitation to "stealth" kill him.
5. Note how the NPC doesn't notice any sound or disturbance I make when out of his direct sight, other than the hiss. (I've also thrown physics objects in front of NPCs and they've not noticed them.)
6. The NPC doesn't appear to notice me bumping into him unless I actually jump on top of his head. I suspect even that much is simply because I slid off and landed in his line of sight.
7. I'm actually surprised the NPC I toy with noticed me killing the first NPC. I've seen instances where I've killed one NPC right next to another, loudly and messily, and the surviving NPC hasn't even noticed.
8. I'm not really sure what's up with the NPC shooting his friend's corpse repeatedly. XD
9. There's more issues, that I CBF to list.

Caveats, I suppose:
1. This is very early in the game, first or second level I think. Maybe the AI gets smarter later? I didn't really notice anything like that, despite beating the alien campaign.
2. The NPC seems a civilian, maybe he's got a little "BE A RETARD! :D :D :D" bit set in his AI datafiles, who knows. Although I've observed similarly stupid behaviour from actual Marine NPCs and Predators. And Aliens.
3. Obviously, he's armed with just a pistol. I'm not trying to demonstrate raw difficulty(although I found the game stupidly easy regardless), I'm pointing out how awful and simplistic the AI on the characters is.

*edit*
For the record as well, I've since essentially replicated these same behaviours on Nightmare difficulty. The only difference in AI between Normal or Hard and Nightmare appears to be a NPCs have slightly better aim once they begin firing at you, and at least on the pistol, the ROF seems higher. That's it. Same actual behaviour patterns in searching for the player or reacting to a threat.
