Awesome Raven Beak final boss fight in Metroid Dread and how to beat him
10In Phase 1 keep firing rockets on the boss while they glow purple, the second they glow gold, you have to hit a parry to unshield them. There are 2 moments to do this: 1) when the boss powers up a charging rush, 2) when most of the screen glows pink, you have a chance to run forward and slide under the blast, opening up a parry point. Be careful not to get stuck in a corner with him, use the wall to bounce away from him if this happens or his 3 hit combo can keep you stuck. Shoot the black orbs with 4 missiles to get some health and rocket recovery.
In Phase 2 keep rockets on Raven Beak. When a thin red line aims at you, be ready to circle him with continual jumps and dashes. When his gun charges up, move toward his flanks, he'll follow, but you can barrage missiles while he's blasting. When he flies directly above you, dash to the side. When he flies to the side of you, be ready to jump him or duck him.
In Phase 3, it's essentially phase 1 again, only now with a giant sun orb attack. You can't destroy the sun, but keep an eye out for a small opening in its waves to not get hit. Be ready for 2 back to back parries to end the fight.
