Axiom Verge is a side-scroller action-adventure game where the player controls Trace, a scientist who, after suffering a crippling injury, wakes up in an ancient and high-tech world. The game focuses on action and exploration, and features over 60 items and power-ups. The game play borrows elements from classic games such as Metroid, Contra, Blaster Master, and Bionic Commando, among others.

Plot
After a lab explosion knocks him out, a scientist named Trace Eschenbrenner[6] awakens on the alien world of Sudra. He hears a voice speaking to him and fights his way to the source: a massive, mechanical head named Elsenova. (source, Wikipedia)

Sorry for any weird edits ;) I try to make sure I'm not moving from areas where there are pickups, but sometimes I find them later, not because I didn't know they were there (my map is pretty correct) but because I'm good at going right past those items. I edit them in and I hope they make sense, even if I might make a comment that seems out of place ;) or not completely accurate.

Also I sorry for all the times I said I was annoyed by any given enemy ;)
