In 2022 Aya Neo, much like other handheld manufacturer, announced cheaper, smaller and frankly less powerful handhelds to compete in the Steam Deck Market. Yeah lets not kid on, its a Steam Deck Market which other handhelds live in.

So what went wrong? In 2023 we expected a ton of new smaller, lighter, intel i3 and AMD Medocino handhelds not directly targeting the Steam Deck but aiming for an even more budget conscience handheld PC market. Looks like Aya Neo have missed the mark but will others follow and more than double their prices?
