If you've not already installed CryoUtilities 2.0 on your Deck I urge you to go check out @cryobyte33 as he has some epic videos and even more epic utility in the form of CryUtilities 2.0.

I was apprehensive about installing more "tools" on my Deck, While I'm happy to tinker with the latest Steam OS version (currently running 3.5) I don't usually install other tools quite so quickly. But now that CryoUtilities is in its second iteration I felt it was time to dive in.

What can I say, my slightly baiting thumbnail is closer to the truth than lie. While my Deck wasn't broken, it probably wasn't as efficient as it could be as I've installed dozens of games that have been uninstalled, reinstalled, moved, changed etc over the last 9 months. So a little housekeeping seemed in order.

Installing CryoUtilities is really simple, I didn't even use a keyboard. I watched the whole video from Crybyte33 first, then skipped back and carried out the changes in the guide. And what do you know my Deck is definitely running smoother and better still BeamNG.Drive now runs pretty much 100% from what I've tested. Even managing close to 30fps at 720p (with FSR enabled).
