391Battle Against AZ in Pokemon X and Pokemon Y.
This was kinda touching, not gonna lie. However, no real connection was made with AZ during the story, so this entire ending scenario was a little odd. A single battle redefining someone's outlook on things is a little weird. If he played a more active role in the story, maybe seeing the player's actions, hearing what some of the rivals had to say about sharing and caring and what not, and slowly changing his views during the course of the plot ending at this final would have made me feel for his character a little more here. Still, it was nice.
At the very least, I think his name is creative. Xerneas and Yveltal are the life and death Pokemon, the beginning to end if you will. AZ is the beginning and end of the alphabet, nice little tie in with the legends there.
