splits say 5:00, but there's no "official" timing for when to start and end the run. From what my 5:47 follows, is on first frame of gameplay & ends on black frame after the boss intro. Which is what I hear most runners are following. UPDATE: so i heard the timing method changed yet again, so from start of frame on controlling main character to first frame of boss cutscene is a 5:30 !Although I disagree with that timing split. There is an input to skip the cutscene which means that's when gameplay technically starts. We'll see if anything gets updated on the boards.
