Azriel, an Anima Tactics model I found in a drawer...
Today's video is a quick one as I have to get back to work and do work- related things, which is fine, but I'm still mentally checked out and in vacation mode.
I found this guy while cleaning out our clutter room in a drawer. Cool! I forgot I had him! He's reminds me of a cross between Devil May Cry's Dante and Gackt in the old Bujingai game.
I liked a lot of Anima Tactics' art. A shame most of the models just never achieved the same quality. Not that they were bad- they are all quite nicely sculpted. They just didn't match the elegant quality of the art. I bet if the sculptors took another crack at it via 3D sculpting though, I bet it would be a lot closer to matching that anime style.
Ah well. Seems like Kingdom Death is going to be one of the only ones to continue carrying that weeb- ish style forward. Middara as well, but that's a board game and a whole different can of worms...
