Bachmann 31-268 | Class 419 | MLV | Network South East | OO Gauge | Review | HD
This is a review of the Class 419 MLV in the Network South East NSE livery from Bachmann and it is a very nice model from them as the detail is crisp and the running is very silent. This is the first NSE livery model train that I own in my fleet as well as one of the first generation southern region electric multiple unit model train in my fleet at present. The model is DCC ready with the 21 pin interface and this unit does have directional lights in the form of illuminated blank headcodes. The detail on this model is impressive as the traction equipment and the transformers mounted underneath these units is nicely picked out. I shall be using this model as a makeshift cab car unit on my locomotive-hauled trains but I will also use it with additional DC EMU's that I plan to get in the future. A cracking model train from Bachmann.
Overall Rating: 10/10.
