Bachmann 32-993 | Wickham | Type 27 Trolley | OO Gauge | Review | HD
This is a model train review of possibly the smallest OO gauge model train that I have in my model train collection. This is a Wickham Type 27 Trolley in the BR yellow with the wasp stripes as this will fit in with most of my model trains. The micro motor is located in the wagon of this model as its not small enough to fit within the trolley.
There are two spare traction tyres included and this model is very smooth and the model does not bounce about on the track despite that it is very lightweight. The detail is very nice for a compact model train like this and the length of each unit is about 1 and 1/4 inches long and it is sadly not DCC ready. Although I wouldn't think it would be impossible, but it would be quite difficult and a fiddly job to do.
My shelf loop layout will be DC only anyway for the time being, so I do not really care as much about this being an issue. It is a nice model from Bachmann and it is also something unique that would fit right in at most diesel train depots,
Overall Rating 10/10.
