A second entry in this season from the Jane's Combat Simulations series of military simulation games, unlike the majority that are flight combat simulation games, Jane's Combat Simulations 688I Hunter Killer is a military simulation based around submarines.
Developed by Electronic Arts and Sonalysts, Jane's Combat Simulations 688(I) Hunter/Killer was released for Windows in 1997. The game has been re-released several times over the years, the most recent of these was on GOG.com in 2023. The game was released on Steam back in 2006, while not having its own listing anymore it is a part of the Classic Navel Combat Pack and the Complete Navel Combat Pack.
