After all, if every game was a rivalry game, then no game would be more special than the rest. But that doesn’t mean we should ignore two teams that are inherently rivals but who have shared a lot of history together. Such a description perfectly encapsulates the Atlanta Braves and Chicago Cubs, who don’t have much of a rivalry but who have played each other more than 2,000 times over their storied histories.
