When flying this wing with the Sequre 2670 70A ESC, we had some general video noise, and at full throttle, the OSD flickered away. Something that seemed to be missing from this ESC was a large capacitor, which you'd usually see on an ESC. So will simply adding one in solve everything? Let's find out.

Many thanks to PCBWay for sponsoring this video, don't forget to check them out and look for the 11th anniversary special deals over at https://www.pcbway.com/

I added a 35v 470uf to this ESC which is fine for 4S, but 6S you might want to go with a 50v 470uf (pictured in the thumbnail) These need to be low ESR. This is not identifiable from anything on the capacitor itself, so look for listings stating they are low ESR, or buy from a reputable FPV retailer.

This ESC was originally supplied by Sequre for review, so if you are interested in finding out more, please consider using one of the following affiliate links:

The Sequre ESC I was flying with is: https://sequremall.com/collections/sqesc/products/sequre-2670-brushless-esc-2-6s-lipo-powered-70a-firmware-blheli_32-am32-supports-128khz-pwm-frequency-suitable-for-fpv-racing-drone-multi-axis-drones-fixed-wing-uav-model-boats-climbing-vehicles?ref=lkmnpe12

Note: If you order a 2670 ESC without a BEC then Sequre ship a capacitor with it, but with a BEC and they don't. With modern flight controllers built with iNav in mind, there's often a good 5v BEC build in the FC, so whilst a BEC on the ESC is traditional in fixed wing, you may/may not need one depending on your setup.

The 120A ESC I'll be trying next time is: https://sequremall.com/collections/sqesc/products/sequre-28120-brushless-electric-speed-controller-2-8s-power-supply-120a-blheli_32-am32-firmware-support-128khz-pwm-frequency-suitable-for-fpv-racing-drone-multi-axis-drones-fixed-wing-uav-model-boats-climbing-vehicles-rc-car-models?ref=lkmnpe12
