BadLands is Atari Games' follow-up to their Sprint series. It changes the setting to a post-apocalyptic one straight out of Mad Max, and the competitors' cars are now armed with a cannon (or missiles if you buy them from the shop). New obstacles on the tracks include cracked ground on the Volcano, sniper turrets at the Military Base, falling electric wires and flaming oil drums in the Junkyard, and guard towers in the Prison Yard. The Military Base has a tower that can be knocked over to find a missile pickup.
The cannon will slow down another car and knock it off course, while a missile will wreck it instantly. If you wished you could do this to a CPU drone car in Super Sprint... now's your chance!
