A very baffling situation...I do a catalog and it comes up...well, a bit of it does...but not nearly all of it...and I am baffled...so it is time to try different things...chips...boards...etc...pondering if this could be another instance of there being power issues...be it the power supply or one or both of the very large capacitors inside the disk drive...baffling...it is...sigh...onward!
