Baldur's Gate 2 Enhanced Edition - Evil Playthrough Part 36 Chapter 3 and a new bug
0After completing chapter 2 I start the side quest working for the shadow thieves. Dorn then pops up asking to kill some priest of Helm.
This is problematic for a few reasons.
The fight itself is tough. There’s a lot of enemies and they seem to be a mix of clerics and paladins.
Defeating them all drops your reputation 1 point. If you also kill the chef you lose 2 additional points. Points that I can’t really afford at the moment.
Finally the mission is bugged. Right after the fight I tried to travel back to Athkatla and I got an error code on the screen and the game crashed. It’s probably the same as Neeras bug and I need to travel to a certain area to avoid the crash. But we will see. I will come back to this mission later probably after the Underdark.
