If you thought the recently revealed 174 hours of cinematic cutscenes in Baldur's Gate 3 showcased the pinnacle of Larian Studios' capabilities, then take a look at the information about the number of endings they have prepared for the upcoming RPG.
According to a well-known YouTuber, who goes by the pseudonym Fextralife and has had the pleasure of playing the full version of Baldur's Gate 3, the developers have prepared a total of 17,000 variations of endings.
Interestingly, this number seems to be more than just a marketing ploy, as it was confirmed by the publishing director, Michael Douse, on Twitter.
However, it should be noted that these are "variations," meaning they differ from each other, probably to a small extent, depending on the decisions made during gameplay.
Unfortunately, the developers have not revealed how many actual endings, in the full sense of the word, we will be able to unlock in Baldur's Gate 3. Nevertheless, considering the immense scope of the production, it is highly likely that there will be a considerable number of them.
