Baldur's Gate 3 has finally entered early access, but is the new addition a worthy sequel or more akin to Divinity: Original Sin 2? It is more like the latter with some new mechanics attempting to make the game feel more like its' previous titles. Plenty of errors and unpolished segments are too be expected, but I hope to show the current main story content (and some side quests) to give a better idea of the core game play, dialog/writing quality, and the general direction of exploration.

Special note: This playthrough involves my second character. I had previously played up to meeting the goblin leader, but due to technical difficulties, I had to redo the entire game.
