Baldur's Gate 3 ep 73 - Self-Same Trial Failure
1(Tactician.) The party starts doing the Trials in the Gauntlet of Shar. First, the Soft-Step Trial, which is easy as pie. Then, the Self-Same Trial, which is ridiculously hard and unfair. For some reason, every D&D game has to have an encounter where you fight copies of your own characters. This one makes it even harder by giving Mirror Gale unlimited Fireballs, and imposing a Curse if you attack anyone other than your own double. It's a TPK, and I have to reload. (At this point, I've largely given up on the running-away strategy, because there aren't enough camp supplies in the game for unlimited long rests.) _Scorecard: Level=6, Camps=28, Trysts=3, Bites=8, Gale=3, Murders=1, Revivifies=10, Resurrections=5, **Reloads=14** (for Bug=1, Redo=4, **TPK=9**)._
