Baldur's Gate is arguably the most important IP within the Dungeons and Dragons ballpark. The creators of Divinity Original Sin 2 have taken upon themselves the task to bring a new entry to the series.
New gamers, non-crpg casuals and okayers are loving this "new 5th edition D&D Baldur's Gate" game. But you... you who played Icewind Dale 2, Planescape: Torment and of course, Baldur's Gate and BG2... you reveled in all those infinity engine based games by Black Isle Studios and pre EA Bioware, you who have known D&D from when they were owned by TSR (before they were acquired by Wizards of the Coast)... are YOU going to like this one? This review is for a non RPG specialized gamer who's maybe hyped about Baldur's Gate III because of the trailers and footage of BG3 he or she has seen and who has maybe played Larian Studio's Divinity Original Sin II.Hopefully our review will help you decide. We still encourage to watch videos on Baldur's Gate 3 gameplay.
