In this chapter (initiating the content of the Tales Of The Sword Coast expansion pack for the original game), our heroes find temporary refuge from their Flaming Fist pursuers in the remote seaside village of Ulgoth's Beard. There. they are accosted by the mage Shandalar, who forcefully teleports the party of David to a remote icy island so that they can bring him back a special magic cloak. Having successfully accomplished that little task, David is soon lured into a bigger one - investigate the mystery of the Isle of Balduran and retrieve Balduran's logbook.
[NOTE: This video is part of a re-recording of my playthrough of Baldur's Gate, which will be fairly similar to the original one but with some technical improvements (several installed mods restoring cut content and introducing more dialog and banter options; use of SweetFX for brighter and more vibrant colors; more zooming in on the actual party; various tweaks and improvements on original decisions).]
