In this episode, David (Gorion's Ward) reunites with the wild mage Neera, who asks him to help her find another wild mage, by the name of Adoy, who could possibly help her control her unbridled powers. Along the way, the company passes through the halfling village of Gullykin, where David is asked to investigate a local pack of particularly arrogant kobolds, leading him to a trap-infested dungeon under the Firewine bridge and then to the hut of a halfling traitor. After a few more adventures in the Firewine ruins, the company finally reaches Adoy's enclave, tricks the local goblins, and, after a particularly tough battle with some Wild Mage Hunters, learns that some wild mages are more goofy than scary.
