BallisticNG - Amazing Wipeout clone in HD @ 60fps!
1If, like me, you are a massive fan of Wipeout, in particular the PS1 titles Wipeout 2097 / XL / 3 then this is the game for you.
It is an awesome Wipeout clone for the PC available on Steam which includes all of your favourite modes including tournaments, custom races, survival, time trials and multiplayer (which I believe can be played using 2 screens).
It runs at 60fps in high definition.
It can be modded in numerous ways, including:
- Importing your own music (including the Wipeout soundtracks)
- Importing / creating your own tracks (including Wipeout tracks)
- Importing / creating your own ships (including Wipeout ships)
- Importing / creating your own sounds (including those from Wipeout)
The modding community has already produced a decent amount of high quality content which is available online and can easily be imported into the game.
I cannot recommend this game highly enough - it is an absolute joy to play.
