Barbearian - Gameplay Demo

A quaint and charming isometric top-down brawler game developed by a one-man team where you control a guy wearing a bear furcoat. You hack and smash all kinds of things in large quantities, gain resources and unlock more weapons, upgrade any saved minions, etc. There is some randomness to it, I'm not entirely sure if it's procedural or if it's just one of multiple layouts.
Crowd control can sometimes be a problem. I got stuck on a boss, which, despite having well-telegraphed attacks, I'd struggle to even beat because his vast armies were slowly wearing me down. Now I realise that I'd stand more of a chance if I grinded, but...bleh. I'd rather games that prioritise skill as oppose to putting a larger emphasis on grinding, and the tuning of that boss fight feels somewhat imbalanced at the moment that I shudder to think of potential late-game boss balance.
