BARN RAISING TIME! - Starbound: Frackin Universe Mod
9Now that we’ve learned how to grow food for the animals (and ourselves), it’s time to build our livestock a nice home to live in!
There are two kinds of barns: ones with holding pens livestock meant to be permanent residents, and ones where…well, carnivores can’t exactly on pearlpeas, now, can they?
You can build a barn out of most any stable material (which means, no, no treasure hoards for walls because they fall as soon as you place them). I like to combine a barn and coop by making an upper layer with platforms for lighter weight livestock (Hens, Robot Hens, etc.) and the ground floor/solid block cubicles for larger beasts.
Just remember to include troughs/feeders for the animals to eat out of and fill thosewith the right sort of feed!
