Barnes and Noble is having a huge problem right now. Their entire syncing and network systems are down for the Nook. You cannot buy or sync new purchases to your device. You can read older ebooks. If you have bought any new books in the past few days, you cannot read them. If you factory reset your Nook e-reader, you won't be able to read anything. This same problem is also affecting the Nook apps for Android and iOS.

There are rumors that there is a huge virus in their systems, it is even preventing cash registers from working in their Bookstores and also their college stores. Given that this is the long weekend, the issue might not even be fixed until next week.
