Bas Kite̅ in Action – A Unique Stage Bus Service in Kuala Terengganu
11This video is a compilation of bus spotting footage captured between December 2024 and January 2025, featuring Bas Kite̅ city buses. Bas Kite̅ is a stage bus service that has served both Kuala Terengganu and the Kuala Nerus district since 2008, operated by Cas Ligas Sdn Bhd. These buses are designed to resemble traditional Malay houses, giving them a distinctive and culturally significant appearance. The fleet underwent major refurbishment after its rebranding from Bas Bandar to Bas Kite̅ in 2017, giving the buses a second lease on life. It remains to be seen how long these buses will continue to operate, considering that their average age is now almost two decades.
