In this tutorial, the three categories of projects/development modes according to Boehm proposed in Basic COCOMO Software Estimation Model are discussed in Bangla with proper examples for each of the category of projects/development modes. The categories are - Organic, Semidetached and Embedded.
Organic Mode
- 2-50 KLOC, small, stable, little innovation
Semi-detached Mode
- 50-300 KLOC, medium-sized, average abilities, medium time-constraints
Embedded Mode
- greater than 300 KLOC, large project team, complex, innovative, severe constraints
