How to Skip Scarecrow 2 using the Early Bell glitch. You can use this as soon as you get in the Mansion (bear in mind that if you intend on doing 100% then you still need to rescue Aaron Cash and scan Dr. Young's fingerprints, although you can still skip the library and Scarecrow 2)

The glitch works on all versions of the game and as far as I'm aware the method I use works on all versions. It boils down like this.

1. Climb to the vents underneath the bell as shown in the video.
2. Line up your Batarang with the gap in the floorboards (afaik the only two that work are the ones in the video although there may be others)
2a. Although it looks like there's a gap underneath the bell, there is in fact an invisible wall here and so far it looks like there is no way to get your Remote Batarang through.
3. Throw the remote 'rang and as soon as it gets through hold left with one stick and down with the other. Once you have gone left the right amount (this takes practice) release left and continue holding down.
3a: If you are using keyboard controls on PC then just hold the left and down keys and release left at the correct time.
4. Once the bell has fallen, go and rescue Dr. Young from Zsasz and ignore everything else in the mansion!

It will take a bit of practice to get consistent but it saves 10+ minutes in a run so it will help even if it takes a few tries!

Huge shoutouts to Ollie (www.twitch.tv/olliejs100) for his help in making me more consistent, Diabuk or Diablohead (www.twitch.tv/diabuk) for coming up with the skip in the first place and Honorable Jay (www.twitch.tv/honorablejay) for his method and teaching me about square analog sticks (learn more at https://forum.speeddemosarchive.com/post/batman_arkham_asylum_171.html)
