The Sewers is one of those levels that starts really messing people up. This is because of those jumping enemies in the beginning. There are two approaches, and you'll end up doing both probably. You either get them to jump past you and walk them off screen, or try to lock them in a jumping sequence and attack them with boomerangs. Failing this, Boomerangs are your best choice to kill them before doing to much damage.

This is the first true challenge as far as wall jumps go. This is all about precision. Remember to punch as you jump into an enemy, that should, most times, prevent you from taking damage.

Those giant missile vehicles generally sit on a raised platform and can't hit people who are close to them on the platform directly below.

Fighting the boss, the best way is to tank it and use Boomerangs. It's important to remember if you are on your last life, you have infinite continues and you'll just have to start in the last section you cleared before the boss. Make sure to collect ammo.

Batman for the NES is one of the finest license titles of the entire 8 Bit era. Not free of some BS, and one of the harder titles, but a fine worthy game to play. If you are a true batman fan and a gamer, you should play it, even if NES isn't your thing.
