Batman Return to Arkham Xbox One PS4 Release date confirmed and Gameplay Announce Trailer
Finally Warner Bros. officially announced that remastered versions of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City are coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The games arrive on July 26 through the Batman: Return to Arkham bundle, which will cost $50/€50/£40.
Warner is promising “improved graphics, as well as upgraded models, environments, lighting, effects and shaders” as well as all of the games’ downloadable content.
The games will be remastered using the Unreal Engine 4, according to a press release from the studio. The remastered versions will give players the chance to play the first two Batman titles in the Arkham series, including both Game of the Year editions, and access to all additional downloadable content.
Batman: Arkham Asylum, originally developed by Rocksteady Studios in 2009, took place in the iconic insane asylum that played home to some of DC Comic's most notorious villains, including the Joker and Harley Quinn. Batman: Arkham City, the studio's sequel to the game, was released in 2011 and took the villains outside the walls of the asylum, bringing mayhem to the streets of Gotham.
