Throughout the show, Batman receives help from sidekicks Dick Grayson/Robin and Barbara Gordon/Batgirl, as well as Police Commissioner James Gordon, in protecting the streets of Gotham City from The Joker (Mark Hamill) and a large rogue's gallery of criminals, lunatics, and nemeses.
