You're kinda already figuring where I'm going with this aren't I. You see You had No Problem speaking to me...when we were alone. But when the People of the building started watching us, Then that's when you pretended you didn't know me or you'll front that you was beyond me and couldn't possibly entertain the idea of even being in the same vicinity as me during the living room gathering. But that's what Vanity means. It means an overbearing Pride on your appearance. You wanted to appear as special and elite to even the other so called elites in the building and everyone did treat you as special and elite.

Because remember in this Building...The greatest currency is beauty

and the secretary is beautiful

her clique is beautiful

the old person's daughter is beautiful

and you was the most beautiful of them all... and you was treated accordingly.

But that's the thing...you didn't care about your appearance as long as people who didn't know you was around...

like on the Bus...remember that.

You did take the bus for a very long time.

In Fact...re read every thing I said about the other women...Because almost everything...also applies to you as well.

But there's also the other definition of Vanity...the more biblical definition...

Uselessness...

Worthlessness...

Because no matter how much you tried to front and act like you was above it all, The People in the building still saw you as a weird person.

That's Vanity.

This is a primary theme of the book of Ecclesiastes . How everything we do is for selfish reasons. How everything we do is rooted in anticipating how people will respond or react to your decisions, as in if I do "x" how will people react?

The Main Theme is that God controls everything...even your appearance. Trump is an excellent example.

But it wasn't all Bad.

I Did have fun talking to you when you actually did open up.

I understood why you was behaving that way and even anticipated you would treat me that way...because remember God controls appearances right.

So I say this...

I apologize for how I treated you for the last year or so you was at the building.

But you must understand...While I understand why you treated me that way. I wasn't going to be blatantly disrespected like the way you started treating me.

You took my kindness and my interest in you...as weakness

And so you began to act even worse than the other girls in the building and I treated you accordingly...by forgetting you even existed.

and treated you...like you didn't exist.

Because that's how you made me feel and I ALWAYS return those kind of favors.

And lastly...

While I WAS interested in you. It wasn't enough of an interest to actually sweat you either. it wasn't enough of an interest to promise you the moon and the stars either.

For you see...even before I entered the building...

There was someone else, and I didn't want you or any of the other girls complicate things even further, So I kept my distance purposely...
