This is my first clear of the Batsugun arcade version made by Toaplan, using ship type B, Beltiana. This game is typically referred to as a proto-bullet hell and also the inspiration for Cave's future games like DoDonPachi. I don't know if I really agree with that as it plays a lot different and the scoring is nothing alike, but it does share some vague similarities with the different ship types.

I didn't bother with trying to farm points on the stage 4 boss, Jupiter, which is the main place you can score in this game. I do plan on improving on my score for this game in the future but for now I'm just happy to be playing and clearing shooters again. The "special version" of Batsugun with a smaller hitbox and 4 loops will also be played in the future.

I was away from playing shoot em ups for over 6 months but now I'm back and you can expect more clears in the future. Stay tuned!
