When it comes to battery on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, you are primarily interested in two things:
• when on the move - remaining time until the battery will be empty
• when charging - remaining time until your battery will be fully charged
If your battery has drained too quickly, you might want to know:
• when it happened
• where it happened
You also want to know how to charge your battery smartly so that you preserve your battery's health and avoid costs for replacing it too soon.
Battery Watch Pro provides all this information.
BATTERY LEVEL AND ESTIMATE WHEN EMPTY
Battery Watch Pro collects the data about the battery level as you move. It displays a graph with battery level for the last 14 days. Based on the data from the past, it estimates when the battery will be empty. Because each device is used differently, runs unique set of apps and the battery health is also different per device, looking at the data from the past is the only reliable way to estimate the draining behavior.
BATTERY CHARGING AND ESTIMATE WHEN FULL
Battery Watch Pro monitors the charging progress. It displays a graph with the charging progress so far and estimate when the battery will be full. Charging cycles are analyzed and the estimates are based on the previous charging cycles.
FULL CHARGE CYCLE ALERTS
Full charge cycles preserve your battery health. Such cycle should be done at least once a month. Battery Watch Pro alerts you if you haven't done so (only on iPhone and iPad WiFi+3G).
SOUND ALERTS WHEN CHARGING COMPLETED
You can enable a sound alert when the charging completes. It is possible to choose one of three professionally mastered sound samples, which have been created specially for this app.
BATTERY LEVEL ON MAP
You can view your movements on the map per day and analyze where your battery drained the most. Recording of your locations can be disabled to preserve your privacy.
BATTERY TIPS & TRICKS
Battery Watch Pro contains a collection of useful tips to keep your battery from draining unnecessarily and tips to keep your battery healthy.
Caveats:
• battery level is displayed with 5% increments
• iPhone and iPad WiFi+3G collect data as you move. Other devices (e.g. iPod touch and WiFi-only iPad) collect data only when the app is in the foreground.
• Estimates when battery full can be less accurate if you frequently switch between different types of chargers.
• Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Battery Watch Pro listens to significant location changes, which is a low-power way to gather location data.
