Battle for the Barrier - The Wintervale Saga - Episode 35
9The party makes it's way back to Resistance HQ. Upon arrival, it appears as though the Resistance is ready to act, trying to figure out how to deal with the Frost giants, the ones most directly responsible for the dangerous roads and destruction of precious properties up to this point.
However, to make matters worse, it seems as though Mi'itrik and Dart have both been captured by the Frost Giants, being forced to participate in Arena-like battles for their amusement.
With time running out, the party decided it was best to attack the Ice Obelisk scouted by the Pirates, who failed to destroy it with their weaponry. They hope that with it's destruction, it'll start to bring warmth back to the area, weakening the Frost giants as well as playing a part in stopping the Archbishop's plans.
When they arrive, they are met with large towers keeping watch over the road as well as a Bridge leading to the spot where the Obelisk is supposedly kept. After conquering the first building, they rest up and prepare for the next step.
